Metro Round 2 April 2, 2016

Round 2 of the Dallas Metro series at Crowley Park Richards had all the makings of a hard contested game. 21 Players made the trek north-east to the hallowed turf and were raring to go. The veteran stalwart of the club, Big Brenn Miller blitzed the defense for Power kicking 6 goals in the first half, obviously got leather poisoning and took a rest in the second half! Welcome to Liam Austin for his first game with Dallas and will be a great asset for the Pies. The second half was a closer contested affair however Power got home winning by 15 points

Final Score: Goals     Behinds Total

Power 16 7 103

Roos 13 10 88

Goal Kickers:

Power: Brenn 6, JJ 3, Bassy 2, Mikey 2, Willow 2, Paddy 1

Roos: Tyson 3, Cory 3, Liam 3, Dave 2, Jacko 1, Dylan 1

Note: If the Roos had kicked straight the result may have been slightly different!!!

BOG was the young man from Sydney JJ, with Dave, Mikey, Willow and Crampon contributing strongly.  Notable mentions to Eric, Tommy, Duff and Cory for having a real crack.  Everyone had fun and look forward to the big game at Tulsa next week.

Big thanks to USAFL leading umpire, Ross McLaren for umpiring our game today.

  120. Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.

  121. I think other web-site proprietors should take this web site as an model, very clean and excellent user friendly style and design, let alone the content. You are an expert in this topic!

article. I desire to learn more issues approximately it!

  125. Hey there! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website?
I’m getting tired of WordPress because I’ve had issues
with hackers and I’m looking at alternatives for another platform.

on my end? I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.

  128. Hi there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any problems with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing several weeks of hard work due to no data backup. Do you have any methods to protect against hackers?

  134. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

  135. I know this if off topic but I’m looking into starting my own weblog and was wondering what all is needed to get
set up? I’m assuming having a blog like yours would cost
a pretty penny? I’m not very internet smart so I’m not 100% positive.

  138. I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

  139. Wow, superb weblog structure! How long have you ever been running a blog for? you made blogging look easy. The entire look of your website is wonderful, let alone the content material!

  140. Usually I don at read article on blogs, however I would like to say that this write-up very compelled me to check out and do so! Your writing taste has been amazed me. Thanks, quite nice article.

  142. Do you mind if I quote a few of your posts as long as I provide credit and sources back to your weblog? 143. We’re a bunch of volunteers and starting a new scheme in our community. Your website offered us with valuable information to paintings on. You’ve done an impressive activity and our whole neighborhood will probably be thankful to you.

  144. Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.

  145. I just want to mention I am just all new to blogging and absolutely liked you’re web blog. Probably I’m want to bookmark your website . You really have exceptional writings. Cheers for sharing with us your web site.

  147. If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

  148. The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it’ll do even better in those areas, but for now it’s a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod’s strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.

  149. Good article and straight to the point. I don’t know if this is truly the best place to ask but do you people have any ideea where to get some professional writers? Thx :)

  163. Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
